Do you like the new color theme for categories? I feel it makes the boards less cluttered looking, easier to use and more organized. But I would like your opinions anyway...
Red = Welcome. It's the first thing you see. It may contain important announcements which is why it's red. And it can also be skippable which is also why it's red. Red means skippable and/or important.
Blue = Edison 3D. It's where you can ask/look for help etc all about Edison 3D.
White = 3D Zone. It's where you can talk about 3D products out in the market that you have not tried with Edison 3D as well as post/find tutorials etc. It's white because it's on topic. It's within the topic of 3D but not specifically for Edison 3D. On = White. Get it?
Grey = Fundraising. It's where you can talk about projects/products found on fundraising sites such as Indiegogo, Kickstarter and/or Humble Bundle. It's grey because it's somewhere in between on and off topic. Grey is a middle color. Get it?
Black = Other. It's where you can go a bit more off topic. Black = Off. Off Topic. Get it?
Yellow = Moderators. This isn't what you'll see unless you are a moderator. There may be important commununication post with moderators from time to time. Yellow just fits and feels attentiony.
Should I change the colors to something else? If so, what?
I was thinking of name brands color and mix them together for the color theme for Fundraising. Kickstarter is known for green and Indiegogo is known for Pink. I mix the two color and it ends up brown. The redder I added, The more reddish brown, maybe Marron color.
I added more off-topic boards to help keep the board alive somewhat. It's not like brand name boards such as Samsung or PlayStation or w/e where it would be best to keep it all on topic. Edison 3D is a very limiting topic (But I guess there are a lot of 3D stuff to talk about.) idk.
What boards do you think I should remove? (I'm going to assume most of "Other")
